2. Appointments and Scheduling

 

Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

 

While we make reasonable efforts to arrive within scheduled appointment windows, unexpected repairs, traffic, weather, equipment availability, and other circumstances may affect scheduling.

 

If changes are necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected customers.

 

3. Diagnostic Fees and Estimates

 

Cool Point’s standard diagnostic fee is $65, unless a different amount is disclosed and agreed upon before service.

 

Diagnostic fees cover the technician’s assessment and troubleshooting services. Repairs, replacement parts, additional labor, and equipment are generally billed separately unless otherwise specified.

 

Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection and may change if additional issues are discovered.

 

Any additional work requiring customer authorization will be discussed before proceeding, and changes to written home improvement contracts will be documented as required by California law.

 

4. Payments

 

Payment terms will be communicated before services are performed and documented in applicable service agreements.

 

Customers are responsible for payment for authorized services performed, subject to applicable laws, contract terms, and cancellation rights.

 

5. Equipment and Workmanship Warranties

 

Manufacturer warranties may apply to qualifying HVAC equipment and components.

 

Any workmanship warranties provided by Cool Point will be described in the applicable service agreement, invoice, or warranty documentation.

 

Warranty coverage may be affected by misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, or other exclusions specifically identified in the applicable warranty.

 

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

 

Customers agree to provide reasonably safe access to the equipment requiring service and disclose known safety hazards or relevant equipment issues.

 

Cool Point reserves the right to postpone or decline work when conditions present a reasonable safety concern, subject to applicable legal obligations.

 

7. Website Information

 

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information on our website.

 

However, website descriptions, general pricing information, and educational materials are not substitutes for an individualized inspection or written service agreement.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

The Cool Point name, logo, website content, graphics, photographs, and other original branding materials are owned by Cool Point or used with permission.
